The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Sultan Qaboos University signed a program of cooperation to manage and run the Oman Research Repository or ‘Shuaa’ in Muscat on Wednesday.
The program was signed by Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, and HH Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Julanda Al Said, Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University. According to the program, Sultan Qaboos University will archive, review and contract with data entry specialists and monitor the entries to the platform using DSpace software. The signing ceremony of the program coincided with the launch of Shuaa’s electronic platform.
