OMREN provides an infrastructure that allows for rapid communication between members while ensuring speed, safety, privacy and continuity of service. The service is delivered by the internet provider, the OMREN’s strategic partner with contracts that ensure the quality and continuity of service provision, while allowing other companies to provide other supported services, OMREN provides different speeds to the members (between 250 Mbps and 1 Gbps), such speed enables cooperation and interaction between members as well as transferring of data in a highly efficient, secured connection. Colleges and universities in the Sultanate can centrally run educational software using this high speed network.
