Taskforce Team

Due to the increase in the number of OMREN members over the past years, the need for technical support to activate the services in institutions has increased. Therefore, OMREN has formed a taskforce team to provide technical support to the members upon request.

The support team currently consists of eight members from different organizations, and we are looking to expand the team by increasing the number of professional IT experts who are qualified to provide support to organizations. This support is to be considered as community service and part of the expected collaboration between the research and education communities at OMREN

Nitto Toppy

Senior system administrator in GUtech

Nitto is working as a Senior system administrator in GUtech. He is expertise in windows and Linux server troubleshooting, configuring cisco networks and troubleshooting, managing server infrastructure and Datacenter. He is certified in RHCE ,MCSE NSE4 ,ITIL,CSSA.

Ali Al Yazeedi

Head of IT departments

Ali Alyazidi is working at the College of Sharia Science as Head of IT departments. He has B.S.C in networking from Majan college and 13 years of experience on IT fields.

Sami Al Omairi

IT Support at Saham Vocational College

Sami Mohammed Al-Omairi is working as a Network specialist at Ministry Of Higher Education, Research & Innovation - Saham Vocational College. He has BSc on Network Science.

Mahmood Al Hinai

Systems Engineer at University of Nizwa

Mahmood Alhinai is working at the University of Nizwa as Systems Engineer since 2008. His duty is to take care of all running servers and systems at the university. One of his goals is to make sure that the provided ICT services in UoN are unique and secure. He is proud of achieving OMREN integration project and activating the services within his organization.

Mohammed Al Suti

IT Admin - UTAS / Ibra

Mohammed is Working at UTAS - Ibra. He is working with the network and servers' team to ensure all the servers are active and up to date and Set up, Maintain and configure core network devices with IPT, Email security and SOC certified. He is an active member of UTAS (Technical Colleges) technical support teams to share and transfer knowledge.

Hajer Al Adawi

Hajer Aladawi is working as a Network & Security Administrator at University of Nizwa since 2011 with a Master Degree from UK. She is resposible about the security and integrity of all services inside the University.

Mr. Karim ELGamil is highly skilled IT professional with more than 17 years in IT field. He holds multiple IT Professional Certificates like Oracle, Microsoft, EC-Council in various specialization (DBMS, System administration, E-Learning, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security).”
