Oman Research and Education Network has participated with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation at Muscat International Book Fair, which was held from February 24 to March 5. The educational roaming service ‘eduroam’ has been activated in all the center’s facilities to enable students and academics to stay connected to the wireless internet.
OMREN also organized an honoring ceremony for the institutions which are the most using OMREN services for the year 2021, and the members of the OMREN technical support; In return for their efforts in supporting the network team in providing technical support to members.
The honoring ceremony was sponsored by Najah bint Mohammed Al Rashidiya, Director-General of the Innovation Center at the Ministry, in the presence of representatives of the concerned authorities, at Ahmed bin Majid Hall at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, as part of the Muscat International Book Fair.
